Swedish Massage
Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain and improving function in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee over a period of eight weeks.
$65 per session
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.")
$75 per session
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy
A barefoot massage technique using decompression with long fluid strokes that glide over the body.
Gravitational force is combined with centrifugal and centipetal movements creating a structural change in the 
chronic soft tissue damage. Correct application will provide deep relaxation and stimulate the lymphatic system 
of the body.
     1 Hour - $75 / 90 Minutes - $105

Massage Staff

Shawna Hunt is a 2003 graduate of the New York Institute of Massage in Williamsville, New York and has been practicing full-time since August 2003.  Always looking to expand her skill set, Shawna regularly attends continuing education seminars.  She has taken classes in orthopedic massage, side-lying work, PUSH Therapy, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, and most recently, Myofascial Mobilization techniques.  Shawna is also a participating provider for a number of health insurance plans.  Whether your goal is purely relaxation or if you have specific areas of concern, Shawna will tailor your sessions to address your specific needs.
